Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair and Partners), a Sidara Company, has been awarded an extended framework agreement by Aramco. This amendment to the existing agreement, awarded in December 2023, allows Dar to provide comprehensive consultancy services, including engineering, design, project management, and multidisciplinary services for both existing and new infrastructure projects led by Aramco. The agreement extends the provision of general engineering and project management services for an additional five years, with the potential for a three-year extension.

This new agreement builds upon the previous General Engineering and Project Management Services – Infrastructure (GESi) framework that Dar signed with Aramco in 2019. The collaboration between Dar and Aramco dates back to 1957 and has been marked by the successful delivery of numerous innovative and transformative projects across various sectors.

Talal Shair, Chairman and CEO of Dar and Sidara, commented on the new framework agreement, stating, "We are privileged to continue supporting Aramco in achieving its strategic objectives. Dar Al-Handasah has been actively contributing to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1957, successfully delivering more than 600 projects for over 100 clients. With seven offices across major cities in the Kingdom, the company currently employs over 3,000 employees, including more than 1,000 Saudi nationals. In addition to its work on numerous Aramco projects, Dar has been involved in many of the Kingdom’s ambitious and visionary giga-projects, particularly those supporting Vision 2030.
