Arada Capital Completes ADGM Incorporation, Appoints New Board Member and Chief Investment Officer
Arada Capital, the proposed fund manager of global master developer Arada, has completed its incorporation in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui as an independent Board Member and Aastha Billore as Chief Investment Officer.
The appointments mark a new phase in Arada Capital’s development as it prepares to build an investment platform targeting opportunities across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and, over time, selected international markets.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui Joins Arada Capital Board
Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui brings more than four decades of leadership experience spanning banking, investment and commerce. He currently serves as Chairman of Mazrui International and is a board member of Bahrain-based Investcorp.
His previous positions include Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of Aramex and Director of the Federal National Council, among other senior roles.
His appointment is intended to strengthen the board’s independence and bring extensive regional business and financial expertise to Arada Capital as it develops its investment strategy.
Aastha Billore Appointed Chief Investment Officer
Aastha Billore joins Arada Capital as Chief Investment Officer, bringing nearly two decades of experience in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and strategic transactions.
She has held senior positions at Meraas, Dubai Holding, Careem (Uber) and Shamal Holding, contributing to transactions associated with major developments and businesses in Dubai.
In her new role, Billore will help develop Arada Capital’s investment pipeline as the company works towards establishing its fund management operations and expanding its investment activities.
Arada Capital to Focus Initially on GCC Real Estate
HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, Executive Vice Chairman of Arada and Chairman of Arada Capital, said the new platform builds on the development expertise, relationships and ambition supporting Arada’s growth.
“Our vision is to connect institutional and family office capital with carefully selected opportunities, supported by strong governance and investment discipline,” he said, adding that the experience of Al Mazrui and Billore would support the company’s ambitions across the GCC and, eventually, international markets.
Moustafa Fahour OAM, CEO and Managing Director of Arada Capital, said Al Mazrui’s standing in the regional business and financial community would strengthen the board, while Billore’s experience in executing complex transactions would support the development of the investment pipeline.
Fahour said Arada Capital would initially focus on GCC real estate, while retaining the flexibility to pursue suitable third-party investment opportunities alongside opportunities emerging from Arada’s own development pipeline.
The company also intends to expand into infrastructure and selected global markets over time, with an emphasis on rigorous investment assessment, investor alignment and disciplined execution.
Leadership Highlights Governance and Long-Term Investment Opportunities
Commenting on his appointment, Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrui said Arada’s growth and the ambition behind Arada Capital presented an exciting opportunity. He said he looked forward to helping connect institutional and family office investors with opportunities across Arada’s pipeline and the wider market.
Aastha Billore said the platform was being established at a time when regional real estate markets were maturing and institutional investor interest was growing. She highlighted the demand for an investment platform combining disciplined capital deployment with strong local market knowledge.
Arada Capital Targets $5 Billion in Assets Under Management
Arada Capital is continuing to build its investment team as it prepares for the next stage of its development.
Subject to receiving its Financial Services Permission (FSP), the proposed fund manager aims to reach $5 billion in assets under management over the next four years, following the establishment of its fund in ADGM.
Its strategy combines Arada’s development capabilities and regional relationships with structured investment evaluation and governance. Individual opportunities will be assessed on their merits, with a focus on aligning investor interests and creating long-term value.
The completion of incorporation in ADGM and the latest leadership appointments represent key steps in Arada Capital’s preparations to develop its investment platform, subject to the necessary regulatory permissions.
