SIG to Unveil Six New Ready-to-Drink Beverage Concepts at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026
SIG, a leading provider of packaging system solutions, will showcase six new ready-to-drink beverage concepts at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, taking place in Dubai from November 3 to 5.
Developed by SIG’s product innovation experts, the concepts reflect emerging consumer preferences across functional nutrition, protein-rich beverages, hydration and indulgent flavours. They also demonstrate how product formulation, processing, filling and packaging technologies can help food and beverage manufacturers explore new categories and identify growth opportunities.
The six concepts were developed at SIG’s Product Innovation & Application Hub in Dubai, where manufacturers can access support throughout the product development process, from recipe formulation and application testing to processing and test filling.
SIG Introduces Six New Beverage Concepts
The new concepts cover a range of consumer needs, combining functional ingredients, familiar flavours and packaging innovations.
1. Nutri+: A nutrient-dense, ready-to-drink meal replacement designed for consumers undergoing GLP-1 treatments. The formulation combines fibre, essential vitamins, minerals and L-carnitine.
2. ProFuel Protein Toffee Nut Drink: A lactose-free beverage offering 18 grams of protein, added fibre and no added sugar, combining functional nutrition with an indulgent toffee nut flavour.
3. Choco Boost: A double-chocolate, milkshake-style drink containing B-complex vitamins and designed for young, active consumers.
4. Hydra Melon: A watermelon and strawberry-flavoured beverage featuring electrolytes and natural fruit sugars, developed for active lifestyles.
5. Tama Burst: A tamarind and plum beverage inspired by traditional regional flavours, formulated with natural fruit sugars and no artificial colours.
6. Filo Booza: A creamy drink inspired by Middle Eastern desserts, featuring real pistachio pieces and enabled by SIG’s Drinksplus technology.
Product Innovation Designed Around Changing Consumer Preferences
Niall Hoey, Director of Markets MEA at SIG, said food and beverage manufacturers were seeking new ways to differentiate their product portfolios and respond to changing consumer needs.
“These six concepts demonstrate how we combine product development expertise with advanced filling and packaging technologies to help our customers explore new categories, accelerate innovation and unlock growth opportunities,” Hoey said.
Through its Dubai-based Product Innovation & Application Hub, SIG works with customers to translate emerging market trends into potential product solutions. The facility combines formulation expertise with application testing and packaging capabilities, helping manufacturers evaluate new concepts and develop products for commercial markets.
