American Hospital Dubai first received the AlUM Ultrasound Training Official Approval

American Hospital Dubai, part of Mohamed & Obeid Al Mulla Group, One of the foremost pioneers of private healthcare in the Middle East, recognized as the only medical facility in the United States, where ultrasound training is accredited in these areas of Abdominal / General, Breast - Diagnosis and Breast Areas - Intervention From the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Council.

This prestigious accolade is in line with American Hospital Dubais vision of making the region healthier and more sustainable through quality care, innovation and medical excellence.

Aside from AIUM accreditation, American Hospital Dubai has also passed stringent onsite studies and evaluation procedures to maintain its laboratory accreditation at the American College of Pathology (CAP) for the tenth consecutive Time. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is accredited by the US Federal Government, and in 2001, the American Hospital Dubai Lab was the first private laboratory in the Middle East to receive its accreditation.

American Hospital Dubai became the first awarded JCI accredited hospital in the Middle East in May 2000 and has maintained its accreditation seven times successfully. Its laboratory was the first private laboratory accredited by the American College of Pathologists (CAP) in the Middle East, and was recognized for 2017 for the ninth consecutive time. In June 2016, the hospital became an inaugural Middle East member of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Care Network, a team of doctors able to collaborate and improve the expertise of Mayo Clinic for the advancement of patients in the UAE and surrounding regions.
