Alcatel Launches V3 Series in UAE with NXTPAPER Display Technology
Alcatel has launched its new V3 Series smartphones in the UAE, introducing what it describes as an industry-first patented NXTPAPER 4-in-1 display technology to the mid-range premium segment. The launch includes three models — V3 Ultra 5G, V3 Pro 5G, and V3 Classic 5G — aimed at consumers seeking advanced display features at more accessible price points.
The announcement was made at a UAE launch event on February 4, positioning Dubai as a key market in the brand’s regional and global growth strategy.
According to the company, the NXTPAPER display is designed to improve visual comfort and usability through anti-glare performance, reduced blue light emission, and multiple viewing modes. The technology is positioned as particularly relevant for UAE users due to strong outdoor sunlight conditions and high daily smartphone usage.
Focus on price-to-innovation gap
Atul Vivek, CEO of NXTCELL, said the UAE represents a strategic market due to its high smartphone penetration and demand for innovation-driven devices at competitive prices.
He noted that the V3 Series is intended to close the gap for price-conscious consumers who still want advanced technology features, adding that NXTPAPER display capabilities are not typically available even in many flagship devices.
Ansh Rathi, COO of NXTCELL, said the devices were designed with regional usage patterns in mind, highlighting outdoor screen visibility, eye comfort, and battery efficiency as core priorities. He said the display’s anti-glare and low blue light features help reduce eye strain for users who spend extended hours on their phones.
Regional distribution partnership
The UAE rollout is supported through a regional partnership with iMart Group & Worldwide IT, which will handle GCC distribution.
