Acronis Launches Advanced XDR Solution for Comprehensive Cybersecurity

Acronis, a global leader in cybersecurity and data protection, has unveiled Acronis XDR, a cutting-edge addition to its security solution portfolio. Aimed at managed service providers (MSPs), Acronis XDR delivers complete, natively integrated cybersecurity with data protection, endpoint management, and automated recovery. This new solution expands on Acronis's existing endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities, providing MSPs with a powerful tool to combat increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

As cyberattacks grow more complex, driven by advancements in AI and the expansion of attack surfaces, businesses face heightened risks of data breaches and malware. Traditional security tools often fall short, being either too complex or insufficient. Acronis XDR addresses these challenges by offering comprehensive protection without the high costs and complexity typically associated with traditional cybersecurity solutions.

“Acronis makes a compelling entrance into XDR,” said Chris Kissel, Research Vice-President at IDC. “Acronis has extended their XDR stack mapping alerts to MITRE ATTACK and offers cloud correlation detections. Their platform supports multitenancy, and the dashboard provides intuitive visualizations.”

Key Features and Benefits of Acronis XDR:

  • Native Integration: Combines cybersecurity, data protection, and endpoint management to safeguard vulnerable attack surfaces and ensure business continuity.
  • High Efficiency: Simplifies the launch, management, scaling, and delivery of security services with AI-based incident analysis and single-click response for swift investigations.
  • MSP Focused: Includes a single agent and console for all services, and a customizable platform to integrate additional tools into a unified technology stack.

“It is imperative that MSPs provide reliable cybersecurity to customers with diverse IT environments and constrained budgets,” said Gaidar Magdanurov, President of Acronis. “Acronis XDR enables MSPs to offer top-notch security without the complexity and significant overhead of traditional non-integrated tools. This is achieved through AI-assisted capabilities that help MSPs provide the utmost cybersecurity, even with limited expertise.”

Earlier this year, Acronis released Acronis MDR, powered by Novacoast, enhancing its endpoint protection platform (EPP) with advanced passive endpoint protection. The launch of Acronis XDR and MDR follows a series of security innovations from Acronis, reinforcing its commitment to providing comprehensive, AI-driven security solutions that are easy to deploy and manage.

With its comprehensive security portfolio, Acronis empowers MSPs to offer complete cybersecurity to their customers, scale operations, and grow their business effectively.
