7X launches ADEED Finance to connect SMEs with business financing
7X has launched ADEED Finance, a digital platform designed to connect businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with financing solutions offered by participating banks and financial institutions.
Powered by 7X’s fintech arm, FINTX, the platform forms part of ADEED, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform. It aims to help businesses identify relevant financing options linked to their commercial and operational needs, including trade finance, working capital, supply chain finance and receivables financing.
The first phase brings together First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates NBD, National Bank of Fujairah and Numou as participating financial partners.
Platform links financing needs with supply chain operations
ADEED Finance provides a structured digital channel for referring financing applications to participating institutions. Its supported financing pathways include trade finance, working capital, supply chain finance, receivables and invoice financing, letters of credit, bank guarantees and Sharia-compliant solutions.
The financing products available to applicants will depend on each institution’s offerings, eligibility requirements and assessment criteria.
Businesses often require financing to procure materials and inventory, fulfil contracts, manage payment and collection cycles, finance imports or support expansion. ADEED Finance is designed to capture these requirements through a digital process and direct applications to institutions whose products may meet the businesses’ needs.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, said the relationship between logistics, finance and data is increasingly important to the speed, continuity and efficiency of trade.
He said ADEED Finance creates a structured connection between businesses’ operational requirements and relevant financial solutions, with the aim of helping SMEs participate in national value chains, maintain business continuity and support the UAE economy.
FINTX focuses on a structured digital application process
Malaz Mubaid, CEO of FINTX, said the platform provides a central point of connection between businesses and financial institutions by presenting financing requirements in their commercial and operational context.
According to Mubaid, organising the relevant information and documentation for each institution can help make the application process more efficient and transparent.
He added that the platform has been designed to accommodate the different products, requirements and business models of participating partners. Each institution will retain full independence over its credit assessments and financing decisions.
As the partner network expands, FINTX plans to broaden the financing options available through the platform and align them with the needs of businesses operating across trade and supply chains.
ADEED expands support for UAE businesses
ADEED Finance marks a further stage in the development of the broader ADEED ecosystem, which 7X introduced earlier in 2026 to support supply chain continuity and facilitate trade flows.
ADEED connects government entities, businesses, service providers and operational capabilities through a unified digital platform. It enables businesses to submit support requirements for assessment and referral to the entities best positioned to respond.
The addition of ADEED Finance extends this model to business funding by linking operational requirements with relevant financing channels. The initiative is intended to help companies secure suitable financial support for their activities, manage day-to-day operations and pursue growth.
By bringing financial institutions into the ADEED ecosystem, 7X is expanding the range of services available to businesses while leaving lending decisions and eligibility assessments with the participating institutions.
