Bentley Systems Announces Winners of 2026 Year in Infrastructure Awards
Bentley Systems has announced the winners of its 2026 Year in Infrastructure Awards, recognising infrastructure projects using digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the design, construction and operation of critical infrastructure.
More than 300 projects from organisations across 53 countries were nominated for this year’s awards. Winners were selected across 12 categories by an independent panel of judges during the Bentley Systems 2026 Year in Infrastructure Event, held in Singapore on October 6 and 7.
The awards, which have recognised infrastructure innovation for more than two decades, highlight projects spanning transportation, energy, construction, water management and other essential infrastructure sectors.
AI and Connected Data Transform Infrastructure Engineering
Bentley Systems said this year’s winning projects demonstrate how AI and connected data are helping engineers address increasingly complex infrastructure challenges.
Cate Lochead, Chief Marketing Officer at Bentley Systems, said the projects had moved beyond digitising traditional workflows by connecting data across infrastructure lifecycle stages and engineering disciplines.
She highlighted the importance of open technology ecosystems that allow infrastructure professionals to integrate data and their preferred software tools to support faster decision-making, resilience and sustainability.
