The Insurance Institute for Highway Safetys Top Safety Pick+ award criteria encompasses six crashworthiness tests as well as ensuring minimum adequate or good spotlight ratings on vehicles that must come outfitted with excellent driver-assist technologies that can help bypass or decrease a hit.
