XX: Her Edition
Women looking to begin or restart their fitness journey will have the opportunity to take part in XX: Her Edition, a female-focused functional fitness competition taking place on 16 May 2026 at Geant Mall, Motor City. The event is designed specifically for women who are either new to functional fitness training or returning after a break, offering a more accessible and community-driven approach to wellness. Organised in partnership with GMG, the indoor event will feature 160 participants competing in a 30-minute functional fitness challenge completed in pairs. The event will run from 6:30am to 12:00pm and aims to encourage healthier lifestyles through community participation rather than high-intensity athletic competition. Focus on Community and Wellness Hosted by podcaster and radio personality Rich Hayes, the competition focuses on promoting consistency, motivation, and awareness around healthier daily habits. Organisers said the event is intended to make fitness feel more approachable and supportive, particularly for women taking their first steps into structured wellness activities.
