If you like to be rain-kissed…

If you have no aversion to getting drenched in the rain or walking across puddles, splashing water, then forget sitting at home. Put on a raincoat and venture out. Take a stroll through a nearby park, stop down at a coffee shop and sip on to some hot brewing coffee. You could also carry a book with you and spend time reading through the lines while the rains pour down outside the café. If you are a loner, go alone and if you think otherwise, have some company.

If you like to be inside…

Most people prefer sitting at home rather than risking going out on a rainy day. And do not mistake sitting at home for a boring idea. There are plenty of interesting things you could do on a weekend at home. 

• •    Pick up on that long-forgotten hobby, be it art, craft, music, or whatever you think you have not done for a while.
• •    Get into some cooking adventures. Call in your partner as well. Find some new dish, and 3…2...1 Go!
• •    Get lost in a good book. The best thing to do on a rainy day. Find that cozy spot at home, settle down with something to munch on, a cup of coffee, and it’s your romantic date with the book!
• •    Binge watch movies, or maybe Netflix? Almost all of us have a list of movies yet to watch. Be it classics, comedy or whatever. Grab some popcorn and get ready for the movie marathon. 
• •    Call in family or friends and host a party for all. Food, music, games, stories, and laughter, bring home the fun!
• •    Get organized. Home sinking in an ocean of clutter? Well, take your day off to set the home back in shape. Sort out the mess, arrange the wardrobe, dust off those curtains and spray in some fragrance. It does take some effort, but you still have rest of the day left to enjoy and laze around.
