What is The National Language of UAE?

Arabic is the National Language of the UAE.

Government Offices and Affairs are conducted in Arabic, the laws are also published in Arabic. Arabic is mostly spoken by the Emiratis and other GCC nationals in the UAE.

There are many classes and online courses to help non Arabic speakers learn the language offered by Universities and language learning institutes. Arabic is the medium of instruction in public schools and is also taught in private schools from grade 1. 

Speaking Arabic can be an advantage when learning about UAE's culture and visiting rural areas of UAE, where English is not widely spoken. Although Arabic is the national language of the UAE you can easily get by with just English as most of the population speak the language.

Apart from English many people speak Hindi, Bengali, Tagalog, Chinese, Urdu, and Malayalam are commonly spoken. Around 75% of the population in the UAE are expatriates and they are of many different nationalities, so it is easy to find someone who speak your language.
