Dubai RTA Announces Adjusted Public Transport and Parking Schedules for Ramadan 2025

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced revised operating hours for public transport services and related facilities during Ramadan 1446/2025. The adjustments apply to the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, public buses, marine transport, vehicle testing centres, and paid parking hours. Passengers and residents are encouraged to check updated schedules to plan their travel during the holy month.

Revised Dubai Metro Timings

The Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will operate as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
  • Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)
  • Saturday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

Dubai Tram Timings

Dubai Tram services will run at the following times:

  • Monday to Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)

Dubai Public Bus Services

Passengers using Dubai’s public buses can access real-time schedule updates via the S’hail App, ensuring smooth travel during Ramadan. The app provides detailed route information for convenience.

Marine Transport Services

Dubai’s marine transport services, including abras, water taxis, and ferries, will follow revised schedules, which can be accessed via the RTA website or the S’hail App. Timings may vary depending on specific routes and operational availability.

Customer Happiness Centres Operating Hours

For in-person services, RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres will operate with the following adjusted timings:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA’s Head Office will continue to operate 24/7 for self-service transactions.

Vehicle Testing Centre Schedules

Service Provider Centres such as Tasjeel, Shamil, Wasel, and others will follow these timings:

  • Monday to Thursday & Saturday:

    • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    • Evening Shift: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Friday:

    • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Evening Shift: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Sunday (Technical Inspection Only):

    • Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Evening Shift: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Updated Paid Parking Hours

Paid parking zones in Dubai will follow the below schedule during Ramadan:

  • Monday to Saturday:
    • First Period: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Second Period: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

Multi-level parking buildings will continue to operate 24/7 without any changes.
