Getting your groceries delivered is the safest way to go but it may not always be an option due to the rising demand of the service which may lead to difficulty in placing an order. Here are some tips to make grocery shopping safer:

Before going to the store:
• Do not go out if you have symptoms of Covid-19, such as a cold, flu, cough or fever.
• Make sure that you choose to go to the store at off-peak times as it will ensure that you have less contact with people. 
• Plan before you go. Prepare a list of groceries as it will help you to get through with your shopping faster.

Safety tips at the store :

• • Make sure you cover your mouth and nose with a mask while you are in public places, wear your gloves if you can, as it will help you avoid contact with commonly touched surfaces. But ensure that you practice proper hygiene while putting on and taking off your mask and gloves. 
  • Touch as few things as possible as possible as viruses can live on surface for a few hours to a few days. 
  • Keep atleast 6 feet distance between you and others, if you have to go past someone in an aisle, pass with your back turned. 
  • Avoid using cash, use contact less payment method such as Apple pay. 
  • If you use your credit card be mindful of the fact that you may have to touch the card machine. 
  • Use hand sanitizer as soon as you leave the store.
