Ajman Launches New Intercity Bus Route to Al Ain Starting May 1

The Ajman Transport Authority has officially announced the launch of a new intercity bus service connecting Ajman to Al Ain, set to commence on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The new route will operate four daily trips in each direction between Musalla Bus Station in Ajman and Al Ain Bus Station.

This initiative aims to enhance public transport connectivity across emirates and provide residents and commuters with a convenient and cost-effective travel option between the northern and eastern parts of the country.

Bus Schedule Details

According to the transport authority, the schedule for buses from Ajman to Al Ain is as follows:

  • First trip: 8:00 AM

  • Second trip: 12:00 PM

  • Third trip: 4:00 PM

  • Final trip: 8:00 PM

Buses departing from Al Ain to Ajman will follow the same schedule, with four trips starting at 8:00 AM and continuing every four hours until 8:00 PM.

The launch comes in response to growing intercity travel demand and is expected to provide a reliable transportation alternative for residents, workers, and tourists moving between Ajman and Al Ain.

Broader Transport Enhancements

This new route is part of a broader effort to expand and improve inter-emirate transport services. On April 28, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) also announced a new intercity bus service between Dubai and Sharjah, set to start on Friday, May 2. The newly introduced Route E308 will connect Stadium Bus Station in Dubai with Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah, with a one-way fare of AED 12 per passenger.

These additions highlight the UAE’s commitment to developing an integrated, efficient, and sustainable public transport system that connects its cities and enhances the overall commuter experience.
