Watani Al Emarat Foundation and Social Media Pioneers Association Sign MoU to Promote Social Media’s Role in Community Support
Watani Al Emarat Foundation has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Social Media Pioneers Association (SMPA) to enhance cooperation in fostering social media’s role in supporting the UAE community. The agreement aims to leverage the power of social media to serve the community, raise awareness, and promote national values.
The signing ceremony took place at Watani Al Emarat Foundation's headquarters, with H.E. Dherar Belhoul Al Falasi, Executive Director of Watani Al Emarat Foundation, and Abdulla Alshehhi, Media Advisor and President of SMPA, officiating the event. Both sides agreed to collaborate on projects that address social issues, promote human values, and utilize social media to disseminate educational content and best practices.
H.E. Al Falasi commented, "This partnership aligns with our vision to use digital media to spread values of tolerance, coexistence, and positive citizenship. Social media offers a powerful platform to raise community awareness and address contemporary challenges."
Abdulla Alshehhi emphasized the importance of this collaboration, adding, "We are committed to supporting national goals by leveraging our expertise and resources to promote community cohesion, family values, and tolerance."
The MoU solidifies the commitment of both organizations to foster digital communication channels that promote the UAE's values and sustainable development efforts.
