Veracode Launches Enhanced Velocity™ Partner Program and Unveils Technical Certification Program
Veracode, a global leader in application risk management, has launched its enhanced Veracode® Velocity™ Partner Program. The new program aims to foster greater collaboration and empower partners with advanced application and cloud risk management solutions across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. This expansion introduces a streamlined approach for working with resellers and value-added distributors, providing them with innovative tools and resources.
Chris Peterson, Vice President of Global Channels at Veracode, highlighted the importance of the enhanced program, stating, "The software security industry is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the rapid adoption of AI technologies. This shift necessitates more advanced technical capabilities across the industry. With our enhanced global partner program, we are setting a new standard for collaboration in software security."
The Velocity™ program enables partners to support their customers in building and scaling secure software from code to cloud using Veracode's application risk management platform. It offers partners AI-powered remediation, actionable insights into exploitable flaws, and seamless integration with DevSecOps tech stacks. The recent acquisition of Longbow Security expands Veracode’s market reach through a network of strategic security providers.
The Veracode® Velocity™ Partner Program features a multitiered structure designed for varying levels of engagement and investment. Benefits for partners include early access to Veracode products, invitations to Veracode Technical Summits, Partner Technical Advisory Council membership, participation in thought leadership initiatives, revenue acceleration programs, and marketing support.
Additionally, Veracode has launched its enhanced Partner Technical Certification Program, offering technical certification across four progressive levels. This program eliminates the requirement for Continuing Professional Education and uses Credly badges to highlight expertise. These certifications are intended to bolster partners' service offerings and sales capabilities.
Partners are already experiencing the benefits of the enhanced program. Traci Byrne, Head of Global Security Strategy & GTM at World Wide Technology, commented, "Veracode's new partner program transforms our engagement with security solutions. The structured tiers and clear incentives align our investments with outcomes, benefiting both our clients and business strategy."
Michelle Jones, Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances at GuidePoint Security, added, "The clarity and simplicity of Veracode's Partner Program allow us to focus more on delivering value and less on navigating complexities, enhancing our ability to serve customers and advance in application risk management."
Clint Huffaker, Application & API Security Practice Manager at World Wide Technology, noted, "The Consultant Certification initiative is a transformative step for partners, enhancing their technical skills and empowering them to deliver superior services."
Peterson concluded, "Our enhanced program meets the growing needs of our partners, providing a clear path to success. We aim to empower partners to grow their businesses while delivering superior security solutions globally."
