OpoFinance has rebranded as OPO, bringing its brokerage operations, technology and digital services under a single identity as the company marks five years in operation.

The new identity is being showcased at Forex Expo Dubai on September 22 and 23, alongside a preview of OPO’s new digital platform, which is scheduled to launch later this year.

The company is also presenting new technology designed to give traders more connected access to their trading data and analytical tools.

From brokerage to technology platform

OPO Group Ltd, the company behind OPO, was established in 2021 and operates an online forex and CFD brokerage serving clients across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and English-speaking Africa.

The company provides access to more than 300 instruments covering forex, metals, commodities, indices, stocks and cryptocurrencies.

Its trading ecosystem includes MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView and the company’s proprietary OpoTrade platform.

According to OPO, the rebrand reflects its development from a conventional brokerage into a technology-focused platform centred on trading analysis, insights and connected tools.

OPO introduces AI-assisted account access

A key part of the new ecosystem is OPO’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection, which allows clients to connect their OPO trading accounts with AI assistants including ChatGPT and Claude.

Once permission is granted, users can ask natural-language questions about account information, trading history and performance.

OPO said the connection is strictly read-only and permission-based. It can provide access to account information and analytics but cannot place, modify or close trades or transfer funds.

The company also said the connection does not receive clients’ OPO usernames or passwords. Clients can revoke access through their OPO Client Area.

The feature is designed to give traders another way to interact with their account information while keeping trading and fund-transfer actions outside the AI connection.

New digital platform planned

The new OPO digital platform is expected to launch later this year as part of the company’s technology roadmap.

Yasi Pazooki, chief operating officer at OPO, said the rebrand brings the company’s brokerage, technology and analytical tools together under one identity.

“Five years ago, we set out to build a broker that traders in this region could rely on. OPO is the next step in that journey,” Pazooki said.

The company said additional products are also planned, including an IB Dashboard expected to launch in November.

OPO showcases new identity in Dubai

OPO is presenting its new branding and technology at Forex Expo Dubai, with visitors able to meet the company’s team at booths 128 and 129.

The event is being used by OPO to introduce its updated identity and provide a preview of the technology planned for its wider digital platform.
