UAE Leadership Congratulates Syria on Formation of New Government
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has congratulated Syria’s President Ahmad Al Shara on the formation of the country’s new government.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent their well-wishes to the Syrian leadership.
A New Chapter for Syria
Syria’s new cabinet was formed on Saturday evening to guide the nation through a five-year transitional period. The government will focus on rebuilding the country after years of conflict while addressing ongoing security threats, economic challenges, and limited resources.
The UAE has been actively engaged in regional diplomacy, supporting Syria’s reintegration into the Arab League and emphasizing stability and reconstruction efforts. The formation of the new government marks an important step in Syria’s post-war recovery and governance reforms.
