UAE Launches Most Ambitious 'Make it in the Emirates' Edition Yet, Fueling Industrial Growth and Global Trade Expansion

The United Arab Emirates has kicked off the fourth edition of its flagship industrial event, Make it in the Emirates, under the theme “Advanced Industries. Accelerated”, setting the stage for a transformative leap in manufacturing, technology, and global market access.

With more than 700 exhibitors and over 50,000 registered participants, the event is a dynamic showcase of strategic investments, financing initiatives, and groundbreaking industrial projects aligned with the UAE’s National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.

In his keynote address, HE Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, underscored the nation’s forward-looking vision:

• USD 45.8 billion in offtake agreements tied to over 4,800 products across 12 priority sectors (aerospace, clean energy, agritech, advanced electronics, etc.)

• Industrial exports soaring to USD 53.7 billion in 2024, marking a 68% increase compared to 2020

• The sector’s GDP contribution reaching USD 57.3 billion

• Over USD 94.5 billion redirected into the national economy through the In-Country Value (ICV) Program, generating 22,000+ private sector jobs for Emiratis
