UAE Commemorates Martyrs with Pride and Reverence on Commemoration Day

Her Excellency Mariam Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), highlighted the nation’s unwavering devotion to honouring its martyrs on Commemoration Day. Observed annually on November 30, this day pays tribute to the Emirati heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the nation’s achievements, security, and stability.

Her Excellency described the day as a celebration of courage and selflessness, deeply rooted in the UAE’s values. “This day is a celebration of honour and dignity that embodies the virtues of bravery and devotion that are deeply embedded in the UAE’s roots. We pay tribute to the brave martyrs who served their country with unwavering dedication and sacrificed their lives in defence of the UAE and its citizens. Their selfless acts will always serve as a source of motivation for us and the coming generations, guiding us to serve our nation and its people with sincerity,” she stated.
