UAE and Uzbekistan Strengthen Ties with Strategic Partnership Declaration and Multiple Agreements
In a significant step toward enhancing bilateral relations, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Uzbekistan's President His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev witnessed the signing of a declaration formalizing the strategic partnership between the two nations.
The agreement was signed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The ceremony, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, also saw the announcement of a series of agreements, memoranda of understanding, and cooperation protocols. These cover a wide range of sectors, including industry, technology, diplomacy, culture, investment protection and promotion, mining, standards and specifications, agriculture, food security, defence and security industries, and justice.
This strategic partnership aims to strengthen economic and cultural ties while fostering collaboration in emerging industries, thereby laying the foundation for sustainable development and mutual growth.
