The Petshop launches UAE’s first integrated super app for pet care
The Petshop has launched the UAE’s first integrated Super App for pet care, introducing a unified digital platform that brings together pet profiles, services, records, and community features within a single ecosystem designed to support day-to-day pet ownership.
The new Super App is built to centralise the pet care journey by allowing users to manage multiple functions through one secure account. Pet owners can shop for products, book services, store records, access guidance, and follow community activities without switching between separate platforms or tools.
Each pet can be assigned a dedicated digital profile containing key details such as age, diet, health considerations, behavioural patterns, and life stage data. The structure is designed to help households — especially those with more than one animal — maintain accurate and up-to-date information as needs change over time.
The platform uses this structured data to enable personalised recommendations and reminders, adjusting service options and care prompts based on each pet’s profile rather than relying on generalised routines. The goal is to support more individualised and consistent pet wellbeing management.
Core offerings — including grooming, boarding, relocation, aquatics, and wellness services — are integrated into a single booking flow. Users can check availability, confirm appointments, and review service history within the app, helping improve planning and service continuity across locations.
The Petshop said the platform also places emphasis on data security and trust, with pet records and documents stored in a protected environment and sensitive files supported by verified digital documentation safeguards. Built-in usage insights generate timely reminders and practical guidance while limiting unnecessary data exposure or generic alerts.
Amr Hazem Youssef, CEO of The Petshop, said the app reflects how pet ownership in the UAE has evolved toward more structured and information-driven care.
He noted that modern pet families increasingly depend on continuity, accurate records, and connected services rather than one-off transactions, and that the Super App is designed to bring these elements together in a single, reliable framework. According to Youssef, organising pet information and linking services in one system reduces friction for users while helping raise overall care standards.
The launch marks a major step in the company’s digital strategy to deliver connected, personalised, and secure pet care management across the UAE market.
