Tevel Aerobatics Technologies seeks to secure the UAE fruit supply chain through drone technology

Hosted by The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel and Volcani Institute, the largest agricultural research institute in Israel, Tevel Aerobatics Technologies, a leader of full harvesting solutions based on Flying Autonomous Robots (FARs), will deliver a keynote presentation titled Cutting Edge Robotics to Secure Fruit Supply Chain at 1 pm on 22 February at Israel pavilion as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai.

Yaniv Maor, CEO, Tevel will announce the launch in the UAE and highlight the use of its innovative patented technologies such as Flying Autonomous Robots (FAR) coupled with Machine Learning, Data Analytics and algorithms. The company will also make its solutions available in the broader GCC region in order to address global problems such as food security, food wastage and supply chain issues faced by the industry.With its launch, Tevel seeks to support the UAE to prepare the nation Towards the Next 50 as directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Tevel has raised USD20 million from global investors including Kubota, Forbon, and AgFunder, among others and is looking to collaborate with public and private sector companies for further investments from the UAE market in order to showcase the nation as a global frontrunner in application of innovation and technology in agriculture. Tevel is also looking to partner with vertical farmers, in-field farmers, greenhouses and growers across the GCC region to apply the FAR technology.This session will be part of AgrIsrael, an event that will showcase the latest agri-tech solutions from Israel. AgrIsrael is part of the Food, Agriculture and Livelihoods Week being held from February 20-22, 2022 at Israel Pavilion.
