Tech Industry Giants, Internet Of Things Expo And Gulf Enterprise Mobility Exhibition And Conference Dominate Future Technology Week Day One
Tuesday 29th March, 2016: The first edition of Future Innovation Week opened at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today, with thousands of innovation industry specialists gathering to the opening salvo of the two-day Internet of Things Expo (IoTX) and the one-day Gulf Enterprise Movement Exhibition & Conference (GEMEC).
In just its second year, IoTX cemented its status as a tactical market event as a jam-packed conference audience participated in a series of conversations focussed on how companies can capitalise commercially on the thriving local Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem.
Younus Nasser, Assistant Director General, Dubai Smart Government Office, delivered a compelling keynote address describing that individuals's joy is the entity's supreme success indicator.
"Technology today can deliver city-wide social happiness and as we change Dubai into the world's most smartest city, the Smart Dubai plan will specify smart city transformation," stated Nasser.
Headline GEMEC conversations focussed on how increased enterprise movement will change business' client engagement strategies and how forensics, access controls and authentication can restrict mobile security hazards in a mobile ingrained world. Ashi Sheth, Manager Enterprise Platforms of Netflix, delivered the keynote address.
A brand-new umbrella identity gathering Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC), IoTX, The Big Data Show and GEMEC, the exhibition component of Future Technology Week collects more than 180 exhibitors displaying innovative solutions and products on the program floor.
Future Technology has attracted a high-profile contingent of the world's leading technology business including AdvanTech, BT, Cisco, Dark Matter, DELL, Ericsson, GE, Huawei, Intel, Microsoft, Pacific Controls and SAP amongst others.
Future Technology Week runs till March 31, with IoTX concluding on March 30, the two-day GISEC opening on March 30 and the one-day The Big Data Show running on March 31.
