Tabadul Signs MoU with Energy City Logistics Company to Boost Cooperation
The Saudi Electronic Info Exchange Company (Tabadul) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Energy City Logistics Company, a subsidiary of King Salman Energy Park, aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation in the logistics and supply chain sectors. The agreement was formalized during the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress, where Tabadul participated as the platinum sponsor. Hisham Alnasser, CEO of Tabadul, and Dave Lee, CEO of Energy City Logistics Company, represented the two parties in the signing ceremony held at Dhahran Expo in Dammam.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between Tabadul and Energy City Logistics Company, focusing on knowledge exchange, operational cooperation, and joint initiatives that will align with best global practices. This strategic partnership is designed to drive the digital transformation of logistics operations and improve efficiency in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of economic growth and trade facilitation.
Hisham Alnasser emphasized the importance of the Saudi Maritime and Logistics Congress as a platform for regional and international discussions on future challenges in logistics and trade. He noted that the event highlights Saudi Arabia’s rising prominence in the global logistics industry and fosters partnerships essential for achieving the Kingdom’s ambitious goals.
The agreement will see Tabadul contribute to developing Energy City Logistics’ digital and operational capabilities by designing an integrated industrial community that attracts investments, promotes resource localization, and boosts Saudi Arabia’s export volume. This collaboration is key to strengthening the Kingdom’s logistical excellence and operational efficiency through innovative technological solutions.
