SuperBridge Summit 2024 to Showcase Middle East as Global Innovation Hub

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the SuperBridge Council have reaffirmed their commitment to establishing the Middle East as a premier destination for innovation and entrepreneurship. The second edition of the SuperBridge Summit, set for October 15-16, 2024, at One & Only One Za’abeel, Dubai, will underscore Dubai's strategic initiatives and leadership in fostering a global innovation ecosystem.

Investors and industry leaders globally recognize the Middle East as a top-three destination, owing to its strategic location, investor-friendly policies, and robust infrastructure. The region's expanding industrial sector continues to attract significant Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), crucial for economic diversification. The UAE aims to enhance its industrial GDP by fostering public-private partnerships, utilizing the region's natural and human resources to build a strong industrial economy. The SuperBridge Summit is positioned to catalyze collaboration and innovation in this context.

Dubai is emerging as a pivotal hub for various industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and real estate, thanks to its relentless focus on innovation and its ability to attract multinational corporations. The city's reputation as a global startup hub is also growing, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a conducive business environment.

Shane Tedjarati, Co-founder of the SuperBridge Council, highlighted the UAE's consistent success in attracting Greenfield FDI projects for the past three years. "These investments target prominent companies with extensive geographic coverage and diversified operations, showcasing dynamic global investment strategies. Cities like Dubai are setting new benchmarks in innovation and investment standards by capitalizing on their strategic location, progressive policies, and technological advancements," said Tedjarati.

He added, "The SuperBridge Summit 2024 will convene visionary leaders to harness human capital for technological and industrial transformation in infrastructure. It will also provide a platform for discussions on groundbreaking technologies, sustainable practices, global competitiveness, and resilient economic and infrastructure solutions that can positively transform our cities and economies while empowering young entrepreneurs."

The summit, themed ‘Innovate for Next Gen,’ will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among industry leaders, policymakers, and young entrepreneurs.
