Paramount Hotel Dubai has reaffirmed its dedication to supporting the next generation of filmmakers by sponsoring The Black Sheep Film Festival, an annual showcase of student talent from SAE University College. This initiative comes as part of the hotel’s lead-up to We Create Drama, its highly anticipated film festival launching later this month.

With an audience of 410 attendees, including notable figures from the film industry, the festival provided a platform for young filmmakers to present their work, network with industry experts, and gain valuable insights into the evolving world of cinema.

A highlight of the festival was an engaging panel discussion featuring three influential Emirati filmmakersNayla Al Khaja, Maitha Alawadi, and Nawaf Al Janhi—moderated by Razan Takash, Head of Film at SAE and Festival Director. Their conversation explored key industry trends, creative storytelling, and challenges faced by emerging filmmakers.

The event also welcomed distinguished guests, including:
