Over 300 global experts will take part at the International BRICS Future Forum “Cloud City” in Moscow
The International BRICS Future Forum “Cloud City” will be held at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow on September 18-19, 2024. The event will bring together government leaders, business representatives, scientific communities and influencers from over 30 countries.
The annual forum, set to convene over 300 global experts from BRICS countries, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the CIS, will unveil the Urban Innovation Environment Index 2024 and present the prestigious World Innovation Award. Taking place in Moscow, this event serves as a prelude to the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan this October.
With the theme "Innovations in Cloud Cities: The Future of BRICS Megacities," this year's forum will delve into groundbreaking projects shaping urban infrastructure development. Discussions will center around concepts like the smart city, fintech, retail, and ecology, aiming to chart the course for the future of urbanism.
The business program boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, including city leaders from BRICS nations, global influencers, and founders of prominent technology companies and startups. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore an exhibition at the Zaryadye Concert Hall, showcasing innovative technologies and modern urban approaches. Additionally, for the first time, an art space will highlight the latest ecological innovations from Moscow-based companies.
Last year's event drew over 5000 participants from more than 30 countries and featured notable figures such as Nobel Peace Prize laureates Professor Muhammad Yunus (India) and Rae Kwon Chung (Republic of Korea), filmmaker and musician Emir Kusturica (Serbia), Aisha Bin Bishr (United Arab Emirates), Khaled El-Attar (Egypt), Ankita Sachdev (BRICS Chamber of Commerce), and other esteemed experts.
The forum concluded with the signing of several international agreements valued at more than 33 billion rubles, underlining its significance in fostering collaboration and innovation on a global scale.
