A total of 15,500 food lovers from Oman and surrounding areas crowded to the event's initial period. At least 50 local business owners showcased their tasty fares throughout the very successful three-day occasion, infusing extra vibrancy to the already prospering food sector in the Sultanate.

In addition to our succulent typical meals, popular worldwide food will be showcased during the event too."
" Food is a necessary location in which we can even more advertise Oman as one of the globe's best vacationer destinations all the time as well as it is one of the most effective ways to bond and bring individuals with each other despite their citizenships as well as cultural histories. Motivated by our previous success, we are confident that Muscat Eat Season 2 will certainly repeat, otherwise surpass, the achievements made during the first season," added Al Mamari.
Sarah Najeeb Al Balushi, Owner of the 'Muscat Eat Festival,' said, "We created this event with the intention of throwing the spotlight on the local food industry--its unique culinary offerings--and eventually help drive in more tourists. At the same time, the event is also aimed at supporting local SMEs and creating more employment opportunities, we hope that it can later evolve to being a bigger international food festival and reinforce Oman as a highly preferred destination for food enthusiasts."
The Ministry's assistance for Muscat Eat Season 2 is straightened with the government's Tanfeedh method program introduced to promote regional tourism together with a variety of pertinent public-private partnerships, special packages, and also fun coupons. Tanfeedh combines the techniques of the major essential industries to branch out the national revenue resources and satisfy the goals of the Ninth 5 Year Development Plan 2016 - 2020.
