Oman Enhances Presence at Arabian Travel Market 2025

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), is set to showcase its rich tourism offerings at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 28 April to 1 May 2025. The official Omani delegation is led by H.E. Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and comprises representatives from 37 tourism companies and hotel establishments, highlighting the country’s dedication to boosting its global tourism footprint.

Oman’s participation at ATM 2025 is part of MHT’s broader strategy to position the Sultanate as a premier international tourism destination and to build strategic alliances aimed at supporting the sector’s development. The event gathers leading hospitality brands, influential industry experts, and innovative travel destinations, while focusing on emerging trends in luxury travel and sustainable tourism.

H.E. Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of Tourism at MHT, emphasized the significance of Oman’s involvement, stating:

"The Arabian Travel Market provides an essential platform for Omani businesses to engage with international partners and explore new opportunities. This year, we are focusing on leveraging global trends in luxury, adventure, and sustainable tourism to develop competitive products and services tailored for diverse markets."

Al Busaidi also highlighted the sector’s steady growth, driven by increased investments in infrastructure, hospitality, and cultural and natural heritage events. He confirmed that Oman’s participation aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, aiming to boost competitiveness and attract high-quality investments.

ATM 2025 is expected to feature over 2,800 exhibitors from more than 161 countries and attract over 55,000 visitors, offering a dynamic environment for networking and discovering the latest insights in the tourism industry. The conference programme includes sessions with senior hospitality executives and travel experts, discussing trends such as the evolving expectations of younger generations in luxury travel, personalised travel experiences, and the rising importance of sustainability in the sector.

With luxury travel increasingly focused on cultural, artistic, and adventurous experiences, hotel brands across the GCC are adapting, placing sustainability at the core of their offerings to meet the growing demand for responsible, high-end travel experiences.

Through its active participation at ATM 2025, Oman continues to reinforce its reputation as a distinctive destination blending rich heritage, culture, and natural beauty, strengthening its position in the global travel and tourism landscape.
