Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government to Host Economic Research Forum on Industry 4.0 in the GCC
The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) is set to host the Economic Research Forum on October 15-16, 2024, focusing on the transformative impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) on the economies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The forum will bring together leaders, decision-makers, and experts to explore Industry 4.0 technologies, including smart factories, smart cities, and artificial intelligence (AI), and their influence on economic growth and the labor market in the region.
His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, emphasized the critical need for skilled and knowledgeable leaders to navigate this rapidly changing era, stating, "The Middle East and North Africa, particularly the GCC, are experiencing a deep transformation driven by technological breakthroughs. Hosting the Economic Research Forum aligns with MBRSG's mission to empower the leaders of tomorrow."
The forum will feature a series of high-level sessions covering key topics such as Industry 4.0's Role in Economic Growth and Diversification, The Impact of Smart Cities on Economic Wellbeing, and Entrepreneurship in the Era of Industry 4.0. Attendees will also gain insights into the skills required to navigate the evolving labor market shaped by advanced technologies.
This two-day event will take place at MBRSG's headquarters in City Walk, Dubai, and will include both in-person and virtual participation, making it accessible to a broad audience across the region.
