Restored Elegance with Modern Luxury

Kasr Al Bahr, meaning “palace by the sea,” was originally built in the late 18th century as the summer residence of Sultan Moulay Slimane. Located in Rabat’s historic Quartier l'Océan, the property spans 50,000 square metres, featuring 11 buildings – six meticulously restored historic structures and five newly constructed ones – set amid beautifully landscaped gardens.

H.E. Jassem Mohammed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of Modon Holding, said:
“Rabat’s rich history and cultural heritage make it a premier destination for travelers seeking unforgettable experiences. We are proud to contribute to the growth and transformation of this magnificent city through the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Rabat.”

A World-Class Experience

The Four Seasons Hotel Rabat offers:

  • 200 rooms and suites with ocean or garden views, some featuring private plunge pools.
  • Four dining concepts celebrating Moroccan and international cuisines.
  • 2,700 square metres of event spaces, including the Royal Ballroom, ideal for weddings and conferences.
  • Wellness facilities, including two outdoor pools, a world-class spa with a Moroccan hammam, a yoga studio, and a 24/7 fitness centre.

Bill O’Regan, Group CEO of Modon Holding, commented:
“We are delighted to have transformed this historic property into a destination that enriches global tourism while honoring the region’s heritage.”

Adrian Messerli, President of Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Four Seasons, added:
