Ministry of Education Explores Strengthening Educational Cooperation with the Russian Federation
His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, led a UAE delegation to St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, to explore opportunities for strengthening educational collaboration. During the visit, H.E. Al Qasim met with several Russian officials and education leaders to discuss advancing the UAE's national education system by exchanging best practices and fostering strategic partnerships.
H.E. Al Qasim emphasized that the visit is part of the Ministry of Education’s commitment to enhancing educational outcomes in alignment with the UAE leadership’s vision. The delegation's goal was to explore innovative approaches in education and academia, contributing to the country's long-term development objectives.
Key meetings were held with prominent Russian figures, including H.E. Vladimir Knyaginin, Vice Governor of Saint Petersburg, Andrey Korneev, Deputy Minister of Education, Nikolay Kropachev, Rector of St Petersburg University, and Serikbai Bisekeev, Founder and President of Arman Holding. These discussions centered on Russia's initiatives to boost education and cooperation to improve the UAE’s education system.
The delegation also toured schools in St. Petersburg to observe best practices and identify potential areas of collaboration.
