Dubai Government Human Resources Concludes Participation in 23rd Edition of Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024
The Dubai Government Human Resources (DGHR) Department successfully concluded its participation in the 23rd edition of Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 24 to 26 under the theme ‘[YOU]th Can.’ The event focused on empowering young Emiratis through innovation, skill development, and career opportunities while supporting the UAE’s Emiratisation goals.
As the official government sponsor, DGHR highlighted the role of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council through workshops, career development programs, and vocational training for students in grade nine and above. These efforts aimed to enhance young Emiratis' competencies and prepare them for the UAE's dynamic job market.
H.E. Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the DGHR Department, noted the importance of the exhibition in providing job opportunities and promoting collaboration between the public and private sectors. He emphasized the need for students and professionals to improve their digital skills, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), to meet future job market demands.
On the event's final day, several high-profile officials, including H.E. Dr. Abdullah Saif Al-Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council, and Abdulla bin Damithan, CEO of DP World GCC, visited the Dubai Government Platform. The platform, managed by DGHR, showcased initiatives from 21 government entities, offering opportunities in over 188 disciplines, including IT, strategy, marketing, and legal affairs.
Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 featured over 100 exhibitors, offering numerous job opportunities, innovative programs, and networking possibilities for young Emiratis, helping them explore career paths in high-demand fields.
