Majid Al Futtaim Launches Ma’an by MAF Home Edition to Support Dubai SMEs
Majid Al Futtaim has introduced Ma’an by MAF Home Edition in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Dubai SME) and Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), providing Dubai-based home and lifestyle businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products to shoppers.
Running from October 16 to November 1, 2026, at City Centre Mirdif, the initiative forms part of the eighth edition of Dubai Home Festival (DHF), which is organised by DFRE under the theme ‘Make Dubai Home’.
Eight Dubai-Based Brands to Feature at City Centre Mirdif
As part of the festival’s Discover and Experience pillar, Ma’an by MAF Home Edition will present a rotating selection of products from eight homegrown brands. The participating businesses are Kiddie Krunch, Artistic Appetites, The Scent Library, M. Sentiment, The Story of Things, Lavenite Petite, Ateeq and Artistic Touch.
Their offerings span categories including children’s dining, home accessories, fragrances and gifting, introducing shoppers to products from Dubai’s entrepreneurial community.
The activation aims to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reach new customers by giving them access to a major retail destination. It also provides shoppers with an opportunity to discover home and lifestyle products from locally established brands.
Dubai SME Partnership Aims to Expand Market Access
Through the collaboration, Dubai SME is supporting participating businesses by increasing their visibility and connecting them with potential customers. The initiative reflects the establishment’s wider efforts to help local entrepreneurs strengthen their market presence, reach new audiences and explore opportunities for growth.
The partnership also builds on Ma’an by MAF’s commitment to supporting homegrown businesses by connecting them with retail spaces and customer bases that may otherwise be difficult to access.
Dubai Home Festival 2026, running until November 1, invites residents to shop, discover and experience home-related products and activities, alongside offers and opportunities to win prizes. The festival caters to a range of needs, from furnishing a first apartment to refreshing existing living spaces.
Local Business Owners Welcome Retail Opportunity
Asma Hamad Ali, owner of Lavenite Petite, said participating in Ma’an by MAF Home Edition marked an important milestone for the business.
“Being part of Ma’an by MAF Home Edition is an exciting milestone for our business. Having our products showcased at Home Centre at City Centre Mirdif gives us a wonderful opportunity to introduce our brand to new customers in an established retail environment. We’re grateful to Majid Al Futtaim and Dubai SME for supporting local businesses and helping us reach a wider audience,” she said.
Alya Alajmani, owner of Artistic Appetites, said the opportunity to display the brand’s products at City Centre Mirdif would help it reach potential customers and support its growth.
“When we applied to Ma’an by MAF, we never imagined we would see our products showcased at City Centre Mirdif, in front of so many potential customers. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the support of Majid Al Futtaim and Dubai SME translate into a real opportunity for growth. Ma’an by MAF Home Edition gives homegrown businesses like ours access to spaces and audiences that might otherwise have been out of reach,” she said.
The Home Edition initiative brings together retail exposure and local business development, giving participating Dubai-based brands a platform to introduce their products to a broader audience during the city’s annual home-focused shopping festival.
