International Schools Partnership announces 100 scholarships for students in the Middle East

The International Schools Partnership (ISP) has unveiled a significant initiative to provide up to 100 scholarships across its nine schools in the Middle East region. These scholarships, covering a diverse range of academic and non-academic disciplines, will be available to both current and new students for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year.

Rory Galvin, Director of Learning for ISP – Middle East, expressed enthusiasm for the scholarship program, stating, “We are thrilled to extend these scholarship opportunities to students in the UAE and Qatar. At ISP, we are committed to a holistic approach to education that transcends traditional boundaries. By nurturing curiosity and building self-confidence, we aim to empower our students to become the leaders of tomorrow. These scholarships not only align with our educational philosophy but also enable us to recognize the talents of numerous students.”

The announcement follows the recent selection of the first scholarship recipient through an Art competition held in collaboration with the Dynowish Foundation and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Jud Muhammad, a Year 4 student at The English College, was awarded the ISP Art scholarship, covering 50% of her tuition fees for the upcoming academic year, after her artwork received the highest number of community votes.

Director Galvin extended congratulations to Jud, highlighting her achievement as an inspiration to fellow students. He also expressed anticipation for recognizing further academic excellence and talent through upcoming scholarship opportunities.

In addition to Jud's success, three other students—Benjamin Hoyland from The Aquila School, Sarah Elsaleh from Nibras International School, and Sally Ghanim from Star International School, Mirdif—were acknowledged as winners of the art competition.

Scholarship categories at ISP schools will honor students excelling in various domains such as Academic Excellence, Sports, Performing Arts, STEAM, IB, and Public Speaking. The coverage of scholarship amounts ranges from 50% to 100% of school tuition fees. Detailed criteria and eligibility information are available on respective school websites or through direct contact with school admissions teams.

ISP operates schools across the Middle East, including The Aquila School, Nibras International School, Star International School Al Twar, Star International School Mirdif, and The English College in Dubai, as well as Aspen Heights British School, Reach British School in Abu Dhabi, and The Hamilton International School and Park House English School in Qatar.
