iCAUR, a fast-growing hybrid and electric vehicle brand, has officially made its global debut in the UAE, positioning the country as a key strategic market in its international expansion plans.

The brand was unveiled at a glamorous gala evening at Park Hyatt Dubai, attended by senior global executives, VIP guests and members of the media.

UAE chosen for global debut

Spearheading the Middle East launch is the mid-to-large all-round hybrid SUV, the iCAUR V27, which enjoyed its first global launch in Dubai. The event marked the model’s official worldwide availability after attracting attention at major international automotive showcases over the past year.

A ‘new-energy classic’ SUV

True to its vision of a “new-energy classic,” the V27 blends a quintessential boxy SUV design with advanced new energy technology.

Measuring more than five metres in length, the V27 features:

1. A bold boxy profile

2. Classic round headlights

3. Refined, modern surfaces

4. A balanced mix of rugged character and technological aesthetics

Inside, the “Stellar Cockpit” concept introduces:

1. A class-first Stellar Porthole dual panoramic sun screen with 99.9% UV blockage

2. A floating Star Island ceiling

3. A spacious five-seat layout with a 2,900mm wheelbase

Golden REEV powertrain

The V27 is powered by the brand’s Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) system, offering:

1. Over 150km pure electric range

2. More than 995km combined range

Unlike conventional plug-in hybrids, the REEV system is fully driven by electric motors, delivering instant torque and smooth acceleration. The gasoline engine functions solely as a generator when needed, enhancing efficiency across urban and long-distance driving.

Tested for regional extremes

Before its official launch, the V27 underwent rigorous testing in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including extreme summer heat trials and high-speed intercity driving.

Globally, more than 1,000 test vehicles completed:

1. Over 50 comprehensive test programmes

2. More than 1 million kilometres of durability testing

3. Trials in extreme heat, severe cold and complex road conditions

This multi-scenario validation ensures the V27 is fully prepared for diverse real-world environments.

Ecosystem-driven ownership experience

The V27 comes equipped with 39 pre-installed ecosystem ports and supports a wide range of upgrade accessories designed to enhance lifestyle customisation.

In the UAE, iCAUR has already opened its flagship showroom at Dubai’s Oasis Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, along with additional locations in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The three sites form the foundation for expansion across all seven emirates.

As part of the brand’s technology-driven ecosystem, AiMOGA Robots will be showcased alongside the V27 in showrooms, offering customers a glimpse into next-generation intelligent mobility.

Zhang added:

“We are not content to simply open showrooms – these locations will be part of a bigger ecosystem that includes world-class after-sales service and dedicated owner communities.”

Following its Dubai debut, the V27 is set to roll out to additional markets worldwide throughout the year, offering customers a new choice in classic, new-energy boxy SUVs.
