iCAUR Brand Launches in Dubai with Global Debut of V27 & 03T SUVs and Ambitious GCC Expansion Plan
Chery Group has officially launched its new automotive brand, iCAUR, in Dubai, marking a major step in the company’s strategic expansion into the Middle East. The event featured the global unveiling of two new SUV models – the iCAUR V27 and iCAUR 03T – along with detailed plans for rapid growth across GCC markets.
Hybrid Technology Meets “J-Style” Design
The V27 and 03T models feature advanced range-extender hybrid (REEV) powertrains designed to maximise performance, fuel efficiency, and driving range. Staying true to iCAUR’s “J-Style” design philosophy, both SUVs present a bold, boxy silhouette aimed at appealing to young, style-conscious Middle Eastern buyers.
The iCAUR V27 REEV, the brand’s first mid-to-large SUV, blends retro-inspired aesthetics with modern engineering. Measuring over five metres in length and nearly two metres in both width and height, the V27 offers a commanding presence and an extended driving range. Its REEV powertrain ensures stable performance across varying terrains.
The iCAUR 03T REEV is a compact yet rugged SUV featuring an intelligent all-wheel-drive system (i-AWD) that optimises traction and stability. Built with an all-aluminium multi-cavity cage body, the 03T integrates 11 active safety features and advanced stability controls for a secure and enjoyable drive.
AI-Robotics and Modular Design Ecosystem
At the launch, iCAUR showcased its modular design ecosystem, which includes three base configurations – pickup, convertible, and space exploration models. Key innovations include quick-release fenders, LEGO-inspired brake lamp assemblies, and more than 100 plug-and-play accessories via standardised interfaces.
The brand also demonstrated integration with the AiMOGA humanoid AI robot, highlighting AI-driven personalisation for both mobility and lifestyle applications. This approach supports iCAUR’s vision of delivering a scalable, youth-oriented EV platform with intelligent customisation options.
Middle East Expansion Strategy
Mr. Zhang Xiaolong, General Manager of Chery International Middle East, confirmed that iCAUR has secured cooperation agreements with three major distributors. The brand will begin sales in the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain by late 2025, with further GCC expansion planned.
“Our goal is to make iCAUR the most desirable automotive brand in the Middle East,” Mr. Zhang stated. “We aim to build a culturally connected community that values individuality and innovation.”
By June 2025, Chery Group had exported five million vehicles globally, becoming the first Chinese automaker to reach this milestone. With the Middle East as a core market, iCAUR aims to combine cutting-edge technology, distinctive design, and community engagement to redefine the regional automotive landscape.
