How about some kite flying this weekend?

The Kite Festival seeks to mark the Indian harvest season Makara Sankranti celebrations observed especially in India as well as other parts of the world. This year, Dubai will also join the Kite Festival with full-fledged fun and frolic. The festival will take place in Creek Park, Deira on January 11, 2019.

The event will have famous and specialized Kite Flyers from India displaying their skills in kite flying, which will be accompanied by traditional music played by well-known DJ duo all the way from Mumbai, India, Mr. Kips and Ms. Kimi. Enjoy the flight-fight in the sky as you groove to the music beneath.

The event is not merely about kite flying. The visitors will also get to indulge in more fun-filled activities. The event will have exciting play zones for kids and adults. One can participate in the festival as kites will be available at reasonable prices. You can as well walk around munching on to mouth-watering delicacies from various Indian states, served in the many food stalls at the venue.

The festival will be made even more colourful with events such as face painting, henna designing and other entertaining games, along with vibrant stage performances you wouldnt want to miss!

The entry to the event is completely free, all you have to do is reach the place before the fun begins. The event will kick start at 9 am in the morning and fly down at 6 pm in the evening.
