Hotels Villa Beach reveals a revamped la carte menu and a new relaxed-chic weekend brunch
Chef Gian Marco Francesconi, who worked in a range of well-known dining establishments such as Tuscanys Michelin-starred Ristorante Ninan, brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to his new role, serving up outstanding Tuscan-inspired dishes at Jumeiah Beach Hotels signature Italian restaurant. Along with a new menu comes a new brunch; translating to sweet nothing, Dolce Far Niente will welcome guests every Friday from 3pm 6pm, to enjoy an afternoon of relaxed idleness and scrumptious food.
Expect real dishes, beachside lounging under the solar and good vibes as the DJ performs on all through the day. Begin with a choice of fresh antipasti and insalate which includes mushroom aranchini with truffle and a seasame aioli, charcoal grilled octopus served alongside olive tapenade and potato pure, and creamy burrata with peppery wild rocket and pomegranate.
Then enjoy an array of Italian favourites such as homemade pasta dishes, veal Milanese with a cherry tomato salad and regionally sourced seabass with fennel, capers and Kalamata olives to be enjoyed with freeflowing beverages.
For a sweet finale attempt a traditional velvety tiramisu or vanilla panna cotta finished with a white chocolate crumble, before heading back to the seashore to soak up the late afternoon sun. Prices for the Villa Beach Dolce Far Niente brunch are AED 349 for the soft drink package and AED 449 for house beverage package, each encompass beach access. The new la carte menus are also now available with lunch being served daily from 12:30pm 3:30pm and dinner 6:30pm 11:30pm from Tuesday Sunday
