Fujairah Crown Prince Discusses Emirate's Bid to Host 2025 UN Adventure Tourism Conference

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, held a significant meeting at the Emiri Diwan with Amr Zain Al-Deen, Director of the Fujairah Adventure Centre, to discuss the Emirate’s bid to host the United Nations Adventure Tourism Conference in 2025. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Dr Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the centre's preparations for the bid. The primary aim is to showcase Fujairah’s potential in adventure tourism, promote sustainable ecotourism, and reinforce the UAE's standing as a global hub for tourism and adventure.

His Highness emphasized the significance of hosting such a prestigious event, noting Fujairah's reputation and experience in organizing major international events. He acknowledged the continuous support from His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, in advancing the Emirate’s adventure tourism sector at both regional and international levels.

Moreover, Sheikh Mohammed directed the allocation of necessary resources and support to achieve the strategic goals of the bid at both the Emirate and national levels. He stressed the importance of cooperation among relevant entities to provide an exceptional experience for participants, visitors, and adventure tourism enthusiasts.

Amr Zain Al-Deen expressed his gratitude to His Highness for his steadfast support and commitment to developing Fujairah’s tourism sector. He highlighted the centre's ongoing efforts to position Fujairah as a leading destination for sustainable adventure tourism and the hosting of global events.
