Federal Tax Authority Launches Tax Professionals Qualification Initiative to Enhance UAE Tax System Efficiency

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has unveiled the Tax Professionals Qualification Initiative, a significant program aimed at developing a new cadre of qualified tax experts to enhance the efficiency of the UAE tax system. This initiative aligns with the FTA's commitment to investing in human capital and fostering a work environment that promotes lifelong learning and development.

The Tax Professionals Qualification Initiative is designed to support the Authority's strategy by equipping the UAE tax sector with skilled professionals proficient in tax administration. It targets university students and graduates, particularly from government universities, as well as new and current employees of the FTA and tax specialists. The initiative also aims to improve the performance of Tax Agents and promote continuous learning among tax professionals.

His Excellency Khalid Al Bustani, Director General of the FTA, emphasized the initiative's role in empowering young talents to effectively manage tax systems in line with international standards. "Launching the Tax Professionals Qualification Initiative aims to enhance the Federal Tax Authority’s pioneering role in developing talent and human resources in the UAE. We strive to achieve these objectives by providing specialized and accredited training programs rooted in best practices and international standards, in addition to offering advanced and continuous tax education," said H.E. Al Bustani.

The initiative is part of the FTA's broader effort to elevate tax expertise and raise tax awareness among community members, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of tax systems across the UAE.
