Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO), the leading energy service company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Electricity, announced the signing of an agreement for the installation of a rooftop solar PV system of capacity 500 kWp with BITS Pilani Dubai Campus.
The agreement was signed by Ali Al Jassim, CEO, Etihad ESCO; Ranendra N Saha, Director, BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus; and Krishna Kumar Singh, General Manager, BITS Pilani, Dubai. The project will generate an estimated 750,000 kWh energy annually for the campus on completion.

The BITS Pilani campus in Dubai will not only help us add value to the efforts aimed at generating green energy by implementing solar project this will also encourage other universities in the region in contributing energy savings and for the promotion of renewable energy.”

Etihad ESCO bringing Dubai closer to the achievement of its sustainability goals by aiming to create viable performance contracting market for energy service companies by auditing and proposing energy conservation measures to major building contractors/developers.
