ENOC Group Launches Latest Edition of Leadership Preparation Programme for Emirati Talent
ENOC Group, a leading integrated global energy player, has launched the latest edition of its ENOC Leadership Preparation Programme, aimed at developing and refining the skills of 44 Emirati talents. This initiative aligns with the UAE Government’s Emiratisation strategy and underscores ENOC's commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and building the capabilities of future national leaders in the energy sector.
The new LeaderSHIFT and LevelUP programmes, each spanning nine months, are designed to nurture leadership skills and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the region’s dynamic energy landscape. A thorough evaluation process led to the selection of 22 participants for each programme, involving a committee from various business units and departments across the Group.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, emphasized the importance of leadership development in the company's strategic vision. "Investing in Emirati talent and cultivating the next generation of leaders is a key pillar of our growth strategy. Currently, we have achieved 52 percent Emiratisation across the Group, underlining our continued commitment to supporting the UAE’s national strategy. By equipping our employees with the mindset and expertise to maximize their potential and make informed decisions, we aim to enhance our ability to innovate, adapt, and position ENOC as a frontrunner in delivering sustainable and integrated energy solutions," he stated.
Led by Emeritus, a leading digital learning provider, the programmes will enhance ENOC's collective skills and competencies across its diverse business units. Participants will undertake strategic projects, participate in educational trips, and engage in group activities while accessing insights from world-renowned industry experts and thought leaders.
The initiative is part of ENOC's broader efforts to achieve 100 percent Emiratisation at the executive management level, 81 percent at senior management, and 52 percent across the Group. Last year, ENOC collaborated with Ashridge Hut Business School for a similar leadership programme, benefiting 26 Emirati professionals. This programme included international educational trips to acquire global best practices, enhancing participants' leadership expertise.
ENOC's Leadership Development Programme aims to create sustainable value in the energy sector, aligning with the strategic objectives of Dubai and the broader UAE.
