Empower and ELIPS Renew ISO Certifications for 2024
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, and its subsidiary ELIPS, a leader in thermal solutions and insulated pipe manufacturing, have successfully renewed their ISO certifications for 2024. The certifications include ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems), following comprehensive audits conducted by Bureau Veritas across Empower's head office, district cooling plants, and ELIPS’ manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali.
In addition to renewing these certifications, Empower has upgraded to the latest ISO 27001:2022 standard for its Information Security Management System, reflecting its commitment to protecting stakeholder information and aligning with the smart governance framework of Dubai. This move ensures adherence to principles of confidentiality and integrity in information management, further enhancing Empower's governance standards.
His Excellency Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower and Chairman of ELIPS, emphasized the companies' dedication to providing top-quality services in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He stated, "Our renewed ISO certifications confirm the sustainability and continuous development of both companies, supporting our goal to deliver innovative and efficient services that exceed customer expectations and enhance satisfaction."
