Emirati Women’s Day 2024: SLC Secretary General Celebrates Women's Contributions to the UAE's Growth

On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, H.E. Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) in Dubai, expressed deep admiration for the significant role Emirati women have played in the development and progress of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In his statement, H.E. bin Meshar highlighted the tireless efforts of the UAE, since its inception, to empower women in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Over the decades, the UAE has enacted numerous laws and established institutions to protect women's rights and promote their participation in various fields.

"The UAE's leadership continues to provide unwavering support, ensuring that Emirati women excel across diverse sectors such as education, government, entrepreneurship, healthcare, aviation, advanced technology, and space science. These accomplishments have positioned Emirati women as leaders and role models on both regional and global stages," said H.E. bin Meshar.

He also extended congratulations to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, 'Mother of the Nation,' along with all Emirati women, recognizing their dedication and achievements that continue to drive societal growth and development.
