Emirates Post Group releases commemorative stamps and souvenir sheets honoring UAEs Golden Jubilee
As part of its celebration of the UAEs 50th National Day and commemoration of the nations achievements over the past five decades, Emirates Post Group has released nine commemorative stamp issuances comprised of eight souvenir sheets, and one stamp sheet.
Seven souvenir sheets follow the same theme of artistically portraying the rulers of the UAEs seven emirates. The eighth souvenir sheet combines all the rulers of the Emirates and their crown princes. As for the stamp sheet, it carries two stamp designs one of the 'Year of the 50th' logo while the other is the image of all UAE rulers and their crown princes.
Through this special issuance, Emirates Post Group aims to highlight the UAEs Golden Jubilee through its historical and cultural heritage. It also aims to record this important era in the countrys history and to honor its wise leaders for their guidance towards growth and development. In addition, the collection is seen to contribute to strengthening unity and solidarity between the countrys leadership and its people.
Starting December 2, 2021, the stamps will be available at Emirates Posts Customer Happiness Centres and online at www.emiratespostshop.ae.
