Emirates Health Services Hosts Second "Zero Bureaucracy in Hospitals" Workshop

Emirates Health Services (EHS) organized its second workshop titled "Zero Bureaucracy in Hospital Service Procedures," as part of the UAE’s "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme." Held under the leadership of the Hospital Department, the workshop brought together 45 participants from EHS hospitals’ zeroing bureaucracy teams, alongside representatives from the Customer Happiness Department.

His Excellency Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Medical Services Sector at EHS, emphasized the significance of this workshop in aligning with the UAE's "We the UAE 2031" vision and the UAE Centennial Plan 2071. He noted that the initiative underscores EHS’s commitment to innovation and efficiency, aiming for a full digital transformation of hospital services to meet national and global health needs. The workshop highlighted the development of customer-centric systems that provide leading-edge services.

Dr. Abdalla Alblooshi, Director of Khorfakkan Hospital, emphasized the role of these workshops in improving the customer experience. He pointed out that EHS’s digital initiatives simplify service procedures, reduce operational times, and boost customer satisfaction. Dr. Alblooshi reaffirmed that these efforts are critical to accelerating the transformation of health services across the UAE.

Innovative Projects and Future Initiatives

The workshop showcased the outcomes of key projects focused on streamlining hospital procedures, including medical report requests, appointment scheduling, and AI-assisted breast cancer detection. Participants also discussed future projects aimed at further improving operational efficiency and delivering integrated health services across EHS hospitals.

The workshop concluded with participants sharing best practices and reaffirming their commitment to enhancing healthcare services in the UAE. The ongoing efforts aim to position the UAE as a global leader in healthcare innovation, ensuring the provision of high-quality, customer-focused services.
