Elm Signs MoU with Sénégal Numérique at GITEX AFRICA 2024

Elm, a leading digital solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sénégal Numérique during its participation at GITEX AFRICA 2024, one of the region’s largest technology events. Held from May 29 to 31, 2024, in Marrakech, the event was organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform in partnership with the Agency for Digital Development (ADD) in Morocco. This MoU aims to leverage the capabilities of both parties to foster bilateral collaboration in targeted markets.

Details of the MoU

The MoU was signed by Al-Ameen Al-Hazmi, Chief Integrated Solutions Officer at Elm, and Cheikh Bakhoum, Director General of Sénégal Numérique. It outlines a collaborative effort to create and operate a digital archiving center in Senegal. Additionally, they will seek financial partners to fund the project and develop the necessary IT infrastructure to benefit Senegalese government agencies. The agreement also includes provisions for exploring further cooperation opportunities during its validity period, aligning with Elm’s vision to empower local companies and accelerate digital transformation.
